MIT releases updated iPhone application

MIT this month released an update to its popular iPhone application that features access to the Institute’s events calendar and many other features.

Among the many improvements in version 2.0 of the app are a search function for news; bookmarking of the campus map; sharing of news and events via Twitter; and quicker access to shuttle schedules.

Since MIT unveiled the free app in January, more than 10,000 users have downloaded it. To get the app, please visit the App Store on Apple’s iTunes.
